Mar 4, 2010 · P2610 code throwed after PPE. I normally run my PPE on lvl 3 for daily driving, but when I tow my trailer I always go to lvl 2 just to be safe. Everytime I reprogram the truck from lvl 2 to lvl 3 I get a CEL and P2610 ECM/PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Perf code.

Feb 13, 2008 · DTC P2610 is set if an internal ECM problem is detected. 1.With ignition OFF, remove both ECM connectors. 2.Wait at least one minute. 3. Replace the connectors making sure to completely seat and lock them. 4.Turn the ignition ON with the engine OFF, and clear the stored codes.Verify the MIL light turns OFF, and stays OFF.

Diagnostic code P2610 from CarMD diagnostic reader
Nov 27, 2011 · Hooked up my CarMD diagnostic reader and it came back with the code P2610. Their definition for this was :CM/PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance. I do not know what this means ... Last night when I was driving the car - the check engine light went off. Does anyone know what that code means for the Sonata?

Dec 11, 2009 · My truck tossed me a P2610 today about 10 minutes after I filled with fuel. The code is ECM/PCM Internal Engine Timer Off Perf. Dealer Reset but didn't know what caused it. I had the truck in a month ago for the cold weather reprogram so I wonder if it had something to do with that. Just wondering if anyone could expand on what it might be.
