Aug 2, 2007 · There's no exception, if you lifted your jeep, your castor angle is wrong and your steering demonstrates one or more of the following characteristics: 1) The steering wanders, particularly at higher speeds. 2) The steering wheel has a lot of play, usually 1-2" before the wheels turn. 3) The steering wheel doesn't center itself after a turn.

Ways to improve driving stability of lifted Jeep
Jan 23, 2012 · Before committing to adjustable control arms, which are pricy, take a look at AEV's front control arm brackets, which run $100 the pair and which will probably save your front drive shaft, as well as reduce break dive and body roll. JPK. You likely need a high steer kit to correct the front geometry.

Dec 11, 2008 · If you do use a hi-lift, look for wood, rock, or take your spare and through it under the frame till you can get the bad tire off. Then switch them. If the Jeep falls, it will fall onto the tire under the frame and you will be able to relift it easily. Do the same with a bottle jack.
Flat Towing a Lifted Jeep

Flat towing a jeep on 31s should not be an issue, if its in good shape. when flat towing, transfer case in neutral, trans in park if auto, trans in gear if manual. Brakes on the jeep when being towed would be great!

Sep 24, 2008 · 35 psi is excessive for 33" tires and is likely the main reason why your TJ is riding more stiffly than it should or you'd like. 26-28 psi is more appropriate for general highway and around-town driving for that size tire. Most shocks can be run in either position, can up or can down, few have problems running can up.
