Posted July 11, 2011. Over the past 25 years I've had a total of 3 121 M1 shotguns. I love that model, fast handling, reliable, sweet trigger pull, and of course the 'safety feature' as mentioned. Years ago there were at least two different manufacturers of a add-on accessory appropriately called a 'Benelli button'.

There's a small square on the bottom of the receiver just above the trigger guard that contains the letters.
