Interdigital cysts are large bumps, or nodules, between a dog’s toes. They can also be called interdigital furuncles, follicular pododermatitis, or podofurunculosis. Interdigital cysts usually appear as red nodules filled with blood and/or pus. They are most commonly found on the front paws.

Interdigital cysts are lesions that develop between the toes of a dog's front paws, usually in the webbing. Interdigital cysts are usually red and might be filled with blood or pus. Interdigital cysts are frequently caused by bacterial infections.

Interdigital cysts are not true cysts. They are inflamed and infected tissue in the webbing between a dog’s toes. Once inflamed, these lesions are called furuncles. Furuncles are more commonly found on the top of the front feet; however, all four feet can be affected.
