Other modes of treatment are maintaining a healthy body weight, not lying down, or going to bed immediately after consuming food, avoiding alcohol intake, consumption of a ragi diet, intake of fruits, avoiding tight-fitting clothes, reducing large meals, and elevating the head end of the bed.
