Jan 16, 2013 · At 8.2% it should give you a "oil change required" warning. You should have seen these before you got to 10% dilution. Henry, Next time try sending a sample to Blackstone or any other lab and see if the results change. When the 6.7 hits 7.79% dilution it should give you a "change oil soon" warning.

Jul 13, 2006 · I was reading in "Diesel Power" magazine that they recommend pouring a bottle of ATF in with a 30 gallon fill up. They went on to say it was good for the injectors and the rest of the fuel system and that it was an "old school" tip. The tip also stated only do this with the 7.3, because the fuel system in the 6.0 has too much pressure.
