  1. Here are some bilateral coordination activities for kids12345:
    • Marching, skipping, riding a bike, and crawling are great large (gross) motor bilateral coordination activities.
    • Encourage climbing walls, climbing ladders, or jungle gyms on a playground.
    • March to music and clap hands at the same time.
    • Cross crawls – touch your right hand to your left knee and then the left hand to your right knee. Repeat touching the opposite feet.
    • Use a playground or basketball to do some ball dribbling using one hand at a time and then advance to bilateral hand dribbling from left to right and right to left.
    • Pop-beads or interlocking toys (Legos®) – pull apart and push together.
    • Lacing/sewing cards.
    • String beads onto laces, pipe cleaners, or dowels.
    • Shuffle and deal cards.
    • Carpentry (hammering, using screws, and bolts).
