Well it's playing Far Cry 6, except there's another player there. Co-op activates early, while you're still on the tutorial island, and you can do almost the whole game. You can't go too far apart, so don't plan to hop in two different planes and fly halfway across creation. But on foot or in the same vehicle, I find the leash long enough.

A mission-based game would allow for concurrent saves, an RPG has limitations in that regard that make COMPLETE sense when thoughtfully considered. It's an rpg so I read that at character levels, inventory, and skills. Nah progress is saved for joining player as well in 6. I hated this system in far cry 5.
