A loggerhead sea turtle that was rescued from the Salish Sea in February and rehabilitated in Vancouver has been returned to the wild in southern California. Moira was just the second of her species to be spotted in the Pacific Northwest.

A loggerhead sea turtle is back in the ocean Thursday following months of rehabilitation. SeaWorld San Diego says the turtle Moira was originally found cold-stunned off the coast of British Columbia in February.

SeaWorld San Diego has released a rehabilitated sea turtle back into the ocean after it was found cold-stunned in Canada, following a successful rehabilitation by the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Society.
