The tropics remain quiet Saturday as the National Hurricane Center monitors four tropical waves, including two in the Caribbean Sea, according to the agency's lastest advisory. The NHC's tropical outlook map for Saturday shows no disturbances in the Atlantic basin and none are expected over the next seven days.

Forecasters warn that several factors in the western Caribbean, including high water temperatures, indicate that a system could kick up in that region some time after Halloween.

The Atlantic appears clear at the moment, but forecasters say the makings of the next storm could already be brewing.
