The 3A classification runs its playoffs differently. The four league champions receive automatic byes into the quarterfinals. The next eight highest ranked teams in the MaxPreps rankings meet in the first round. But those matchups will be set by a committee. The quarterfinals are then seeded one through eight via the MaxPreps rankings.

The 2024 Idaho high school football season has one more game remaining in the regular season - with teams still fighting to make the field for the start of next week's postseason.
