INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a fire caused heavy damage to an abandoned church on Indianapolis' near northwest side Saturday morning. The fire was reported shortly after 7:00 a.m.

Emergency services were called to a reported structure fire at Hubert St, Woolloongabba at 1.45am on Sunday. On arrival, crews found smoke issuing from one of the abandoned buildings in the complex.
