After two seasons in Tennessee, Titans star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a conditional fifth-round pick on Wednesday. And on Thursday morning, Hopkins passed a physical, making the trade official.

Once upon a time, as a superstar receiver, DeAndre Hopkins had the option to sign whomever he wanted as a high-profile free agent. He could’ve joined a championship contender (like, say, the Kansas City Chiefs), but apparently, contenders weren’t willing to pay him what he wanted. That’s totally fair.

The Chiefs announced their trade for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on Thursday, sending the Titans a conditional fifth-round draft pick.
