Stopped here for a photo opportunity as the castle looks wonderful in its lochside setting. Stop on the way to Skye it is worth it. Full review by twoadults_2kids

Hello, are you able to cross the bridge to get closer to the castle without needing to pay to enter the castle? In other words, do you pay to enter the structure or to enter the property?
A:
Crossing the bridge to access the island costs 3£. Dogs allowed as well. To go inside the castle it will cost more. We paid the 3£ and thought it was well worth it.

We didn’t use the bus - but there is one within easy walking distance. Eileen Donan did have lockers for bags. Not sure how big your luggage is and if they’ll fit. But they do have …
