Yes, it is safe for all ages. Just be careful and watch your footing that you don't slip and fall.

How far a walk is it to water and can you walk onto water or do you have to jump in?
A:
You don’t have to touch anything muddie at all. Walk in the floating boardwalk to a ladder to get in. It was a wonderful experience.
