WEBJan 12, 2022 · When trying to tune to neutral pitch, my 16" batter head would barely have the wrinkles out of it so I turned the pitch up. Tune all the lugs to the frequency on the batter while sitting on a plush blanket. Flip and do the same to the reso. Then I turn it back over, balance the drum on it's edge on the floor and hit the middle of the batter head.
